The various emotions of Goddess Parvathi have been brought out using the unique composition of Violin Maestro Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman.
The Navarasa Varnam , Angayar kanni anandam kondale is a raga Malika and has been composed specially for dance.
In each and every stanza, various acts of either Shiva or Parvathi are demonstrated and Goddess’s reaction to the act is brought out.

- Pushpanjali – Is an invocatory piece in praise of lord Ganesha, he who holds the divine joy in his hand as modaka and who always strives to accomplish the liberation of his devotees towards that Divine Joy. He, who holds the Moon as his ornament and with a joyful spirit protects the world. He, who is without any master but is himself the only master for His devotees, and protects them by destroying the inner demons, To those who surrender to him, he destroys the inauspicious tendencies; I salute Sri Vinayaka and surrender to him. Now Pushapanjali in Raga Arabhi, set to Adi Tala.
- Natesha Kavutvam or Nataraja Kavutvam are hymns in praise of Lord Shiva, the song describes how his anklets produce the sound Jhana when he performs his cosmic dance, he’s the one who holds the Trishula and rides the Nandi. He who holds the Damaru is the lord of 3000 dikshitars in Chidambaram. Salutations to the one who adorns the sun and moon. Now Natesha Kavutvam in Ragam Varali set to Adi talam
- Devi Kriti- This song, known as Ranjani Mala, describes Devi as Ranjani, Sriranjani, Megharanjani and Janaranjani. O Mother! You are the delightful one. You have eyes like the tender lotus petals. You speak beautifully. You satisfy the desires of devotees. You take away the ego of the mind. You are Sri Ranjani. You delight in the musical chanting of the Sama Veda.
Your face is like the moon. You gave birth to cupid. You are Megha Ranjani, the goddess of the clouds.
You take care of the afflicted ones. You are Shoolini, one with the Trident. You get rid of our sins.You are the pure one. You are the delight of all people, Jana Ranjani! Now, Rajani, Ragamalika set to Adi Tala.
- Gummanna Karayadire, a Devadanam where little Krishna is seen being very apologetic about all the mischief he just did and begs his mother to not call the monster. He swears that he did not trouble the other young girls or steal any butter. he promises to never eat sand or fight with his older brother. He says. he’ll be very obedient and will eat all the food and never cry, he pleads with his mother to not call the monster man. This Devarnama is composed by Puradhara Dasaru.
- Thillana – Sandhya will end her today’s performance with a Thillana. In Ragam Vallachi set to Adi Tala.

- Manduka Sabdam: This is a story of Gajendra an Elephant king, caught in the Jaws of a crocodile, who was unable to free himself despite his mighty power, Finally he calls for and surrenders to lord Vishnu who releases him from the Crocodile’s clutches and saves him
- Brindavana Nilaye: This composition by sri.Oothukadu Venkata Subbaiyer’s Keerthana describes Radha, Lord Krishna’s Eternal love who resides in Brindavan.
- Kulukaga Nadavaro: The poet Annamaya says, “O ladies, bearing the palanquin please do not walk in a zig zag way, Jaji flowers in my mother’s (Alamelu manga) hair may fall.
- Kamakshi Stuthi: In this kruti, Poet Dikshitar pays obeisance to the supreme goddess Kamakshi, the consort of Ekamreswara. He praises her divine beauty and splendour.
- Tillana: This is a nritta item,which uses abstract combinations of hand gestures and foort work that show mastery of rhythmic complexity. The lyrics at the end of this particuar thillana praise Lord Rama,the beloved of Sita, Who is the best of mankind and full of compassion.
