Shilparamam Arts, Crafts & Cultural Society Madhapur is organising the “Crafts Mela” at its newly created mini shilparamam Uppal premises. The management said, conducting the “Crafts Mela” at uppal Mini Shilparamam to encourage the poor artisans of our country with following the covid rules and regulations of central government.
Bhagalpuri, Tussar, muslin sarees and dress materials , leather bags, chappals, jute products, kondapalli toys, pottery, blue pottery, cane furniture, wood carving, handloom bedsheets, bengali cotton and painted sarees, Jamdani sarees, and many more stalls are available to the visitors. from 12 noon to 8.00 PM daily till 31st January.
As a part of the cultural programmes, today Renuka Prabhakar students performed Kuchipudi Dance Recital at Amphitheatre. The items performed are ananda narthana ganapathim, krishnam kalaya sakhi, dhanasri thillana, saraswathi keerthana, jaya lakshmi keerthana etc by artists ravali, koumudi, pranathi, pravallika, vaishnavi, ujwala.
